Use the picture below as a writing prompt for a POEM. Make the poem as long or as short as you’d like but be sure to describe the setting. Is it dark and mysterious? Is it lush green and turquoise as far as the eye can see? Are there predators? Use your imagination. Happy Writing!
Today’s writing exercise is to write a setting based on the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen. This should be really fun! Here’s a sample of some descriptive words that could be used:
The ocean was a breathtaking shade of blue. The alluring sound of the waves lapped at the shore as I gazed into the tranquil sunset that was stunning colours of orange and pink.
See what you can come up with and use descriptive words to give your story some depth and transport the reader to the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen.
